About the position

The Community Manager will oversee the management of a 55 plus Manufactured Home Community, focusing on maximizing asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue. This role involves direct management responsibilities and requires a highly motivated individual to ensure the community operates smoothly and meets the needs of its residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned properties
• Design business plans for assigned properties that suit customers' needs
• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with residents
• Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
• Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
• Oversee properties' personnel and assess its performance
• Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
• Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
• Process monthly resident payments
• Ensure account accuracy
• Maintain resident and vendor files
• Process move-in and move out paperwork
• Vendor setup, process vendor invoices
• Work with HOA and Social Committee

Requirements

• Proven work experience as Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager
• Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
• In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
• Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
• Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
