As a Community Manager at Griffis Residential, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional living experiences for residents in luxury apartment homes. This position involves leading a team, ensuring high productivity, and delivering outstanding customer service while managing community operations effectively. You will be responsible for driving financial success, overseeing leasing activities, and fostering a positive work environment for your team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and delegate responsibilities to community associates to ensure high productivity and performance.
  • Drive financial success by maintaining budgeted occupancy, collections, and expenses.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident service requests and conducting community inspections.
  • Utilize iPad leasing and marketing standards to connect with prospective residents and secure leases.
  • Oversee leasing office associates, promoting their growth in leasing and customer service standards.
  • Create a positive work environment through coaching and cross-training opportunities.
  • Stay updated on market conditions and provide strategic recommendations for community operations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure seamless community operations within budgetary guidelines.
  • Manage capital improvement projects, overseeing progress and approving payments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or CAM/ARM certification preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in multi-family or hospitality management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering on customer service standards.
  • Strong comprehension of legal documents related to lease management and rent collections.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality management.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification.
