About the position

As a Community Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of an apartment community in Las Vegas, ensuring effective leasing, maintenance, and resident relations. This role requires strong administrative skills, knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, and the ability to manage conflict effectively. You will lead a team, utilize property management software, and maintain organized records to create a welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Lead and mentor Leasing Staff.
  • Utilize technology (Appfolio) to streamline maintenance processes, leasing activity, and reporting.
  • Monitor all advertising and specials for the community.
  • Coordinate property management activities, such as rent collection, lease renewals, and move-ins/move-outs.
  • Process 7-day notices and manage the eviction process in its entirety.
  • Create and maintain schedules for staff and monitor vacant preleased units.
  • Maintain accurate and organized files and records related to residents, leases, and property management.
  • Provide administrative support to the property management team as needed.
  • Oversee facilities management, including regular inspections and maintenance of common areas.

Requirements

  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
  • Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict resolution among residents or staff members.
  • Experience with Appfolio or similar property management software is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
