About the position

Calyx Senior Living is actively seeking an enthusiastic, sales-driven, competitive, and success-motivated Community Marketing Director for our BRAND NEW assisted living community located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. This position is crucial as it will be the primary driver of a world-class community with a best-in-class census trajectory. The Community Marketing Director will play a vital role in achieving early occupancy through community engagement, which includes organizing events and networking within the larger community to generate referrals. The role requires relentless follow-up with prospects to ensure a smooth transition into the community. As the Community Marketing Director, you will be responsible for delivering census goals and driving external business development to generate brand awareness. This includes creating and nurturing community and referral relationships. You will manage the sales lead follow-up and progression through the sales cycle, ensuring that each potential resident receives the attention they deserve. Additionally, you will oversee the resident move-in process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience for new residents. The position also involves establishing and executing strategic marketing plans to guide marketing efforts effectively. You will drive market awareness by coordinating and participating in community events, particularly on weekends during the pre-and post-opening sales phase. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, hardworking, and motivated, with a hands-on approach to sales and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 3 to 5 years of sales experience.
  • Excellent written and conversational skills.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce and Yardi.
  • An associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in senior living, health care, real estate, or hospitality sales.
