About the position

The Community Marketing Director will serve as the ambassador for Heartland Country Village, promoting its services to potential residents, families, and healthcare partners. This role emphasizes community involvement and aims to facilitate smooth transitions for new residents while building strong relationships within the local healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with medical and professional community to showcase services.
  • Follow up on referrals and educate potential residents and families about offerings.
  • Conduct in-house or on-site assessments to establish care needs.
  • Ensure smooth transitions for new admissions from previous care settings.
  • Keep the team informed to ensure seamless admissions process.
  • Engage in local events and community groups to promote the organization.
  • Contribute ideas to shape the marketing plan.
  • Maintain detailed reports of activities for the Administrator.
  • Monitor healthcare market trends and competition.
  • Handle intake paperwork for new residents.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies for necessary services.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in healthcare, customer service, and/or community development programs.
  • Knowledge of the local skilled nursing market and key players like case managers and discharge planners.
  • Ability to work independently and make smart decisions.
  • Superb time management and organizational skills.
  • Friendly and approachable personality.
  • Significant understanding of community needs.
  • Background in Volunteer Program Development.
  • Familiarity with Non-Profit Organizations and mission-driven processes.
  • Ability to apply social media platforms to support business development.
