About the position

The Community Marketing Manager at Lowes Foods is responsible for enhancing community engagement both inside and outside the store. This role focuses on driving traffic and revenue through events and building relationships with local schools and businesses. The position requires a flexible schedule and involves some overnight travel within North and South Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Execute community driving and monetized events in the stores, planning 16 events per store per month.
  • Provide support for catering and party planning, focusing on cross-departmental activations for events like birthday parties and corporate lunches.
  • Schedule and arrange music events in stores to drive traffic based on budgets and needs.
  • Create a monthly calendar of events for stores, including key department activities.
  • Create local social media posts to support marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct outside selling with a focus on seasonal goals.
  • Manage the Cart 2 Class program for targeted schools, coordinating registration and impact on Private Brand sales.
  • Support community events, including activations at sponsorships and store-based outreach.
  • Assist Market Insights through in-store interviews and in-home ethnographic visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or Business preferred.
  • 1-3 years of progressively increasing experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
