About the position

The Community Mobile Response Team (MRT) Program Manager position is a critical role that provides direct oversight of the agency's Mobile Response Team Program, which collaborates closely with the Melbourne Police Department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations and performance measures are met, adhering to policies, operating procedures, and applicable Council on Accreditation (COA) standards. The Program Manager will engage in case consultations with staff, assist in managing complex cases, attend interagency staff meetings, and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery. In this leadership role, the Program Manager will oversee the continuum of crisis response services provided by the agency, offering clinical oversight and consultation for complex cases as needed. The position requires monitoring program performance in alignment with agency standards and contractual measures, providing strategic direction to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the Program Manager will be involved in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, identifying gaps and deficiencies in service delivery according to agency policies and COA standards. Fiscal responsibilities include engaging in budget development and ongoing monitoring of the clinical programs' contracted services budget, ensuring expenditures are controlled and financial forecasts are accurate. The Program Manager is expected to work within a Strength-Based Family Centered framework, enhancing the agency's Wraparound philosophy and values while participating in Trauma Informed Care initiatives. The role also involves maintaining data integrity through internal controls and fulfilling other related duties as assigned, which may include training others and performing higher-rated duties for developmental purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight of the Mobile Response Team Program in collaboration with the Melbourne Police Department.
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual and performance measures, policies, and COA standards.
  • Provide case consultation to staff and assist in managing complex cases.
  • Attend interagency staff meetings and participate in performance quality improvement activities.
  • Lead the implementation and capacity building of the Mobile Response Team Program.
  • Monitor program performance and adherence to contractual measures, providing strategic direction for desired outcomes.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities to assess and improve performance.
  • Engage in budget development and ongoing fiscal monitoring of clinical programs' budgets.
  • Work in a Strength-Based Family Centered manner to enhance agency values and philosophy.
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity and provide internal controls.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida is required.
  • 3-5 years of clinical services experience required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required.
  • 2 years of experience in Crisis Intervention required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Medicaid billing experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License and appropriate insurance are required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in trauma-informed care initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Strength-Based Family Centered practices.
