About the position

The Community Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for internal teams within the Community & Learning offerings of a leading SaaS company. This role focuses on creating and delivering training resources that enhance employee engagement with community events and forums, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience through scalable processes and high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver self-paced training resources that employees can use to familiarize themselves with our Community & Learning offerings
  • Create and manage a resource calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery schedules
  • Build respect & trust with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Measure the impact of resources and satisfaction with deliverables; incorporate feedback into resource improvements

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of content creation experience
  • Ability to produce high-quality visual and written content that resonates
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Confluence, Loom, PowerPoint, Keynote
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in communicating ideas, concepts, and designs
  • Keen eye for detail and creativity
  • Knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and learning management systems is beneficial
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve content usage and performance
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within distributed teams
  • Energized by building relationships with a diverse group of people

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence Cloud, and Trello
  • Familiarity with Absorb
