The Community Outreach Coordinator plans, directs, and coordinates activities designed to create and maintain a positive and favorable public image while raising issue awareness within the perimeters of the Enable Madison County mission, goals, values and vision. This work is done in support of Enable's mission and within the guidelines of its policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Maintain, update and track contributions, mailing lists and donor data in the database. Support Enable's Resource Development Committee in development of fundraising and special promotional event activities Develop and implement plan for external fundraisers at the direction of the Executive Director Generate fundraising reports from the e-Tapestry donor database Track progress for fundraising events Monitor event tasks and timelines Generate community outreach calendar Prepare, generate and post public service announcements, press releases, and other media correspondence at the request of the Executive Director Arrange speaking and public relations engagements as requested by Executive Director Coordinate website development and maintenance Create content and design for newsletters and email marketing and fundraising campaigns Maintain Enable's presence on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) under the supervision of the Executive Director Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or 5 years of applicable work experience 3-5 years of experience working with social media platforms 3-5 years of fundraising experience Experience in non-profit setting is a plus Knowledge of Office 365, Apple Software, Filemaker Pro, Adobe Products, WordPress, CANVA, E-Tapestry Working knowledge of graphics design and production a plus Effective communication and interpersonal skills Persuasive writing and grammatical skills Successfully manage complex projects The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks for multiple projects Organization and time-management skills Strong logic and problem-solving skills Willing to accept changes Attention-to-detail Ability to interact with diverse groups of people Public speaking and presentation skills Work well both independently and in a team environment Work well under pressure Committed to Enable's Mission Attributes Creative and open-minded A desire to learn Self-motivated Strong work ethic Team-Oriented Dependable Physical demands The physical demands outlined below are typical for employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
