About the position

The Community & Program Support Specialist (CPSS) will provide essential support to MassEnergize community leaders and clients across the state, focusing on clean energy campaign initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer relations and program support, enabling clients to effectively inspire community-level climate action. The CPSS will engage with clients, curate content for outreach, and assist in the use of engagement software, all while working collaboratively with the Program Coordinator and under the guidance of the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional support areas.
  • Create and curate content for outreach, including newsletters and social media.
  • Provide support to community clients, including training in software and outreach tools, and tracking community metrics.
  • Support community engagement campaigns, including marketing, program evaluation, and related activities.
  • Conduct outreach to acquire new community clients and promote products and services.
  • Assist in other areas of MassEnergize's work as assigned.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to learn basic software development processes.
  • Ability to travel locally to support local campaigns.

Nice-to-haves

  • Passion for community engagement, climate, and clean energy issues.
  • Familiarity with customer relations management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HUB Spot, Neon).
  • Experience with social media campaigns and outreach.
  • Experience in the climate or clean energy sector.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken by community clients.
