Responsibilities

  • Handle customer requests and transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with required policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by relevant regulations.
  • Resolve problems to support effective business operations.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Integrate information from multiple sources for enhanced analysis and reporting.
  • Respond to general customer inquiries via phone, mail, or fax in a timely manner.
  • Review and discuss loan counter offers and structuring options with customers.
  • Address customer service issues according to established parameters and escalate as needed.
  • Gather additional documentation from customers and stakeholders to fulfill requests.
  • Recommend workflow improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Manage customer documentation to maintain proper records.
  • Complete complex tasks within given rules and handle escalations from other employees.
  • Analyze issues and determine next steps.

Requirements

  • Proficient in written and oral communication in Spanish and English preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of customer requests.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Specialized knowledge in relevant areas.
