About the position

The Community Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering strategic relationships with key organizations, enhancing MyHealth's visibility, and supporting marketing and communications efforts. This role focuses on building partnerships with healthcare associations and community organizations, managing industry events, and identifying grant opportunities to promote MyHealth's initiatives and services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture partnerships with healthcare associations and community organizations.
• Manage and represent MyHealth at industry events and conferences.
• Secure opportunities for speaking engagements and event participation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with external partners.
• Gather insights from partners to shape marketing strategies.
• Screen grant opportunities and facilitate collaboration on joint applications.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional content.
• Support the creation and management of content for MyHealth's external communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in grant management, public relations, outreach, or a related role.
• Proven experience in managing partnerships, grants, and outreach initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health information exchanges (HIEs) is preferred.
