About the position

The Community Relationship Specialist at Oklahoma's Credit Union is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key community partners, conducting financial education workshops, and promoting the credit union's products and services. This role emphasizes community engagement and aims to enhance the credit union's presence and membership through outreach and collaboration with various organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service and contribute to overall team effort.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services and policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key community partners, including Select Employment Groups (SEGs), state agencies, non-profits, and local businesses.
• Create new community relationships by conducting research and meeting with decision makers.
• Prepare, schedule and conduct financial education workshops for community relationships.
• Organize community programs and coordinate special events to promote credit union products and services.
• Provide quality referrals on OKCU products and solutions.
• Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties.
• Support other members of the Community Relationship team as needed.
• Maintain records; track, analyze and report on all relationship activities and results.
• Work closely with branch staff to meet individual and branch goals.
• Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
• Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Two years' experience in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in community outreach or relationship management.
• Familiarity with financial products and services.
