About the position

The Community Resources Manager at 360 Communities is a pivotal role responsible for the operational success of various programs, specifically focusing on Food Support and Housing initiatives aimed at eviction prevention and Rapid Re-Housing. This position requires a dynamic leader who can ensure seamless team management and development, effective program delivery, and continuous evaluation and improvement of services. The Community Resources Manager will work closely with the Director of Programs and Operations to lead the Community Resources impact area, striving to achieve significant outcomes and establish a clear vision for the programs offered. In this role, the manager will be tasked with representing 360 Communities in external community engagements, raising awareness about the needs of individuals impacted by the programs, and cultivating relationships that enhance community involvement and resource availability. The manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Community Resources programs, managing program aspects and grants within budgetary constraints, and reporting on progress and challenges encountered. A key responsibility will be to develop objective performance measurements to ensure high-quality evaluations and goal setting for staff, instilling a sense of accountability among team members. The manager will evaluate the professional development needs of staff and collaborate with other leaders to implement necessary training initiatives. Additionally, the role involves overseeing partner food shelf sites, supporting lead volunteers, and maintaining relationships with key community partners, all while providing effective leadership to enhance the impact of Community Resources programs across all services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational success of Food Support and Housing programs related to eviction prevention and Rapid Re-Housing.
  • Partner with the Director of Programs and Operations to represent 360 Communities with external community groups.
  • Raise awareness regarding the needs of those impacted by programs and cultivate community relationships.
  • Develop Community Resources program strategies and vision in collaboration with the Director of Programs and Operations.
  • Manage program aspects and grants effectively within budget and report on progress and challenges.
  • Develop objective performance measurements for staff evaluation and goal setting.
  • Evaluate staff skill and professional development needs and implement initiatives accordingly.
  • Recruit, hire, and guide training and orientation of program staff in partnership with the Director of Human Resources.
  • Engage, equip, and retain volunteers as it relates to Community Resources.
  • Oversee partner food shelf sites and maintain relationships with key faith community partners.
  • Provide effective leadership focused on increasing program impact and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Supervisors in other impact areas for cross-training staff.
  • Review and analyze reports to determine progress and devise mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Develop strategies to maximize synergies among Community Resources staff and create effective teams.
  • Ensure programs are holistic, culturally appropriate, consumer-centric, and accessible.
  • Innovate to improve and expand programs and provide regular supervision to staff.
  • Identify unmet community needs and develop service delivery strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards in ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.
  • Support staff in cultural competency and equitable service delivery.
  • Participate in community building events and various workgroups.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of related work experience required.
  • 2-3 years of related supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Experience working with a collaborative and constructive peer group.
  • Experience in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams.
  • Working knowledge of human resources, including performance evaluations and improvement plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
