About the position

Ashton Woods is seeking a Community Sales Manager (Onsite Sales Agent) to join its dynamic team in Mansfield, TX. This role is pivotal in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction within the home buying process. The Community Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospects, guiding them through the home buying journey, and achieving established sales goals set by the company. This position does not require prior real estate experience, making it an excellent opportunity for ambitious sales professionals looking to make a mark in the homebuilding industry. In this role, the Community Sales Manager will work at the sales office and model homes during designated company hours. They will learn to deliver effective sales presentations that align with company standards and effectively communicate product offerings, building processes, financing plans, and mortgage processes to assist customers. The manager will also be responsible for accurately completing sales agreements and addendums, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Utilizing a CRM/lead system, the Community Sales Manager will track homebuyers and provide customer-oriented service throughout the sales process. Achieving sales goals while maintaining a high customer satisfaction rating is crucial. The manager will stay informed about community information, including schools, shopping, and recreational areas, to better assist customers. Additionally, they will ensure that all selling materials are well-stocked and consistent with company specifications, maintain on-site signage, and set up weekly visits with realtors to generate referral sales. Understanding the competition and preparing accurate reports on sales, competition, and traffic will also be part of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work at sales office and model homes during designated company hours as needed.
  • Learn and deliver effective sales presentations to prospects consistent with company standards.
  • Learn and effectively communicate product offerings, building processes, financing plans, and mortgage processes to help guide customers.
  • Learn sales agreements and addendums, complete them accurately, and deliver them in a timely manner to customers.
  • Use the CRM/lead system to track homebuyers and service their needs throughout the sales process, with a customer-oriented service approach.
  • Achieve sales goals and maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Stay current with community information (e.g., schools, shopping, and recreation areas) and any other information requested by customers.
  • Ensure that all selling materials are well stocked and consistent with company specifications.
  • Place and maintain on-site signage (e.g., home site signs, inventory signs, open house signs, etc.).
  • Set up weekly visits with realtors to generate referral sales.
  • Understand what the competition is doing and be able to compare it with Ashton Woods.
  • Prepare reports accurately (e.g., competition, sales, and traffic).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; college degree preferred in sales or marketing.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office systems (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for business travel by automobile.
  • New home sales experience preferred.
