About the position

As a Sales Manager at Brookdale, you will play a crucial role in guiding families and older adults through the sales journey, from initial interest to move-in. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will be the boots on the ground, both inside and outside the community, helping older adults navigate their options. You will collaborate with local professionals and volunteers to generate referral leads from various sources, including medical, financial, and legal professionals, as well as religious leaders and local businesses. Your partnership with leadership will be essential in developing and executing sales and marketing plans aimed at meeting or exceeding community revenue and occupancy goals. Brookdale provides robust support for its Sales associates, including a comprehensive three-week onboarding and orientation program that features in-depth instruction in Brookdale's unique sales approach. You will receive one-on-one coaching with your District Director and ongoing monthly continuing education to enhance your knowledge and skills. Additionally, customized tools will be provided to help you effectively market your community based on its unique geographic area. Responsibilities

  • Guide families and older adults through the sales journey from interest to move-in.
  • Generate professional referral leads from local medical, financial, and legal professionals, as well as religious leaders and other organizations.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed community revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Participate in a three-week onboarding and orientation program to learn Brookdale's unique sales approach.
  • Engage in ongoing monthly continuing education for professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant and recent sales experience is necessary.
  • Senior Living experience is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the senior living industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
