About the position

The Community Sales Manager is responsible for achieving revenue goals through effective lead generation and conversion activities. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with local influencers, collaborating with community teams, and utilizing sales data to create actionable plans. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, including managing inquiries, conducting tours, and promoting community events to drive engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue goals through lead generation and conversion activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local influencers to increase community awareness.
  • Partner with General Managers/Executive Directors to implement sales and marketing plans.
  • Analyze sales data to create goals and action plans for achieving sales metrics.
  • Meet established targets for lead and lease conversion as defined in the business plan.
  • Respond to potential leads with timely follow-up and maintain the CRM system.
  • Conduct tours with prospective residents and interested parties.
  • Facilitate training and coaching for community staff on inquiry handling and tours.
  • Make outbound sales calls to schedule community visits and advance the sales process.
  • Promote and facilitate events that drive lead generation and community tours.
  • Manage the community marketing budget and maintain promotional materials.
  • Develop and maintain an effective internal referral program with residents.
  • Ensure the community is staged and marketable according to company standards.
  • Negotiate rental agreement terms with prospective residents and family members.
  • Visit competitors regularly to gather market information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Skilled in creating relationships through various communication methods.
  • Exceptional persuasive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high demand for results.
  • Proficient with CRM tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license required.
