About the position

As a Community Sales Manager at Atria Senior Living, you will play a pivotal role in creating communities where employees thrive in their work and residents thrive in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve revenue goals through effective lead generation and conversion activities. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with local influencers, partnering with General Managers and Executive Directors, and cultivating a deep understanding of the customer and local market. You will manage all aspects of lead generation, ensuring that the community's reputation and awareness are enhanced among key decision-makers, ultimately leading to commitments to refer prospective residents. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the divisional sales team to develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan. You will review and analyze available sales data for the community and the market, using this information to create actionable goals and plans to achieve sales metrics. Meeting established targets for lead and lease conversion will be a key focus, as will working with paid referral partners to convert leads into confirmed move-ins. You will be responsible for timely follow-up with potential leads, ensuring that the CRM system is consistently updated with accurate information. Your responsibilities will also include conducting tours for prospective residents, facilitating training and coaching for community staff, and promoting events that drive lead generation. You will manage the community marketing budget and maintain promotional materials, while also supporting the General Manager in ensuring that the community is staged and marketable. Regular visits to competitors will be necessary to maintain market intelligence, and you may perform other duties as assigned to support the community's sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an effective internal referral program with residents.
  • Ensure the community is staged and marketable according to company standards.
  • Negotiate incentives and terms of rental agreements with prospective residents.
  • Visit competitors regularly to maintain market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Skilled in creating relationships through various communication methods.
  • Exceptional persuasive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high demand for results.
  • Ability to travel within the local market for lead generation events.
  • Proficient with CRM tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license required.
