About the position

The Community Sales Manager at Atria Senior Living is responsible for achieving revenue goals through effective lead generation and conversion strategies. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with local influencers, collaborating with community teams, and utilizing sales data to drive marketing efforts. The Sales Manager will engage with prospective residents, manage the community marketing budget, and ensure that the community is presented in a marketable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of lead generation, including generation, cultivation, and maintenance of external professional relationships with local influencers.
  • Partner with the General Manager/Executive Director and Divisional sales team to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.
  • Review and analyze available sales data for the community and the market to create goals and action plans.
  • Meet established targets for lead and lease conversion as defined in the sales and marketing business plan.
  • Work with paid referral partners to develop and convert leads from referral sources to confirmed move-ins.
  • Respond to all potential leads with timely follow-up and ensure the CRM system is up to date.
  • Conduct walk-in and scheduled tours with prospective residents or interested parties.
  • Facilitate training and continuous coaching for community staff on inquiry calls and tours.
  • Make outbound sales calls to potential leads to schedule community visits.
  • Promote and facilitate on and off-site events that drive lead generation and community tours.
  • Manage the community marketing budget and maintain promotional branded material inventory.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager/Executive Director to develop and maintain an effective internal referral program with residents.
  • Ensure that the community is staged, marketable, and aligned with Company standards.
  • Negotiate incentives and terms of rental agreements with prospective residents.
  • Visit competitors regularly and maintain information as directed by the Company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of setting goals and achieving results.
  • Skilled at creating relationships through various methods of communication including telephone, face to face, and networking events.
  • Exceptional persuasive problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with high demand for results.
  • Ability to travel within the local market for lead generation events.
  • Proficient with CRM tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
