About The Position

The Anoka Police Department is seeking applicants for the position of Part-time Community Service Officer I (CSO I). This role involves various duties that contribute to community safety and service. Openings are available on all shifts, providing flexibility for candidates. The responsibilities include patrolling in a squad car or on foot, preparing reports, responding to distress and emergency calls, administering first aid, investigating incidents, and handling animal and city ordinance calls for service. Additionally, CSOs will assist sworn Peace Officers as needed, with a focus on community-oriented issues.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
• No prior criminal record or history
• Experience dealing with the public
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on short notice

Responsibilities
