About the position

The Community Service Program Manager at Exceptional Persons Inc. (EPI) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of community living programs for individuals with disabilities. This role emphasizes personal growth, community connection, and the implementation of person-centered planning and compliance. The manager will supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), coordinate training, and advocate for the individuals served, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of community living programs and the persons served.
• Identify and monitor health and safety issues within the programs.
• Implement person-centered planning and compliance measures.
• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) including performance management and training.
• Coordinate, schedule, and document DSP participation in training and development.
• Assist with the ongoing development of services based on the needs of the persons served.
• Advocate for persons served in the community and maintain open communication.
• Assist persons served with activities of daily living and physical healthcare as needed.
• Solicit feedback from DSPs, persons served, and their families regarding training needs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as determined by the Program Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field.
• Two years of experience in developing, coordinating, and/or delivering disability services.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with good driving record.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks.
