About the position

The Community Service Technician at AHP Management Corp is responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property while providing excellent service to residents. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and ensuring the community's common areas and building systems are well-kept. The technician will work closely with the Community Manager and Service Manager to meet operational needs and may take on supervisory duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to residents in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed, including service requests and repairs.
• Install major appliances and complete other tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain the physical appearance of the community, including common areas and grounds.
• Correct or report deficiencies to supervisors and adhere to the company's safety programs.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Trade School preferred.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in skilled trades.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of minor carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Experience with household appliances installation and repair.
• Basic welding and metal work skills.
