The Brentwood Police Department is seeking highly motivated individuals who are eager to work in a city and department that prides itself on professionalism and community support. This position provides a wide variety of non-sworn support services for the Police Department operations and services including in the areas of parking enforcement, vehicle abatement, prisoner booking and transportation, responding to assigned calls for service, writing reports, fingerprinting, and narcotic offender/sex offender registrations. Candidates that are interested in applying for both the Community Services Officer I and II levels must submit an application for each opening in order to be considered.

  • Provide non-sworn support services for Police Department operations.
  • Perform parking enforcement and vehicle abatement.
  • Handle prisoner booking and transportation.
  • Respond to assigned calls for service.
  • Write reports and document incidents.
  • Conduct fingerprinting.
  • Manage narcotic offender and sex offender registrations.
  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
  • One year of work experience that demonstrates a general aptitude for working with the public in a multi-task environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
