About the position

The Community / Social Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing the brand's Instagram accounts and ensuring a vibrant online presence. This freelance position is fully remote and requires working East Coast hours for 10-15 hours per week. The role involves managing customer interactions on social platforms and supporting the social media team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the brand's Instagram accounts.
  • Assist the team in various social media activities.
  • Respond to questions and comments in DMs.
  • Address customer service issues promptly, providing solutions and connecting with the necessary team members.
  • Monitor and engage with users who tag the brand or interact with posts.
  • Repost relevant content and maintain active engagement.
  • Potentially monitor online conversations to understand trends and customer sentiments.
  • Prioritize customer service issues, ensuring timely and effective responses.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in customer service is a plus.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
