Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Support clients in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Teach clients essential life skills, including cooking and meal preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or condition.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • No criminal record.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Compassion and patience in working with individuals with special needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to cook and prepare meals for clients.
  • Experience with hospice care or vital signs monitoring.
