About the position

As a Community Support Specialist, you will be responsible for executing processes that support the property management team and Regional Operations. The Central Operations Team covers a variety of administrative functions, and your responsibilities may vary based on your role assignment. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to pursue a career path as a property manager or in general business operations. You will primarily interact with internal clients, but also engage with external clients to deliver exceptional customer service and support. Your role will involve a range of administrative coordination tasks, including providing support to Association Managers and Regional Directors. This includes managing access device and fob activation and distribution, sending out correspondence via letters, emails, and phone blasts, and preparing for annual meetings and elections. You will also be responsible for tracking returned nominations and proxies, updating and uploading data and documents into company systems, and assisting with homeowner compliance responses and escalations. Additionally, you will update community calendars, maintain and process operational report requests, and collaborate in the management of the mail room and office supplies. It is essential to keep work logs and billing reports current and accurate at all times, and you will also greet and assist visitors to the office as part of your duties.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities are necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows required.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.
