About the position

The Children's MAP Team Specialist at Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is responsible for coordinating MAP teams across 18 counties, focusing on addressing the needs of children and youth with serious emotional and behavioral disorders. This role is crucial for the daily operations of the team, requiring independent thinking, effective multitasking, and project management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manages MAP teams across 18 counties of the PBMHR service area.
• Tracks outcomes for Children's Services and completes reports.
• Co-leads all MAP team meetings.
• Coordinates with Department of Mental Health (DMH) representatives.
• Attends meetings in the community to build relationships/teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral healthcare required
• Mental Health experience preferred
• Community behavioral healthcare experience required
• Valid MS driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Reliable Transportation to provide services in the community
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format.
