About the position

The Community Support Specialist at Bank of Central Florida is responsible for delivering exceptional client service through the accurate processing of financial transactions and fostering positive client relationships. This role involves managing a community banking portfolio, handling client inquiries, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations while maintaining a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Community Relationship Manager(s) to manage a community banking portfolio.
  • Accurately process client transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Balance assigned cash drawer daily and perform vault duties.
  • Request and follow up on required financial information from clients.
  • Support marketing efforts to promote the bank's products and services.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Bank's products to meet client needs and refer to appropriate partners.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities for ongoing learning.
  • Provide high-level client service, representing the Bank professionally.
  • Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures and all Federal and State laws.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of cash handling experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Time management skills
  • 1 year of banking experience preferred
  • Deposit and/or Loan Operations experience preferred

Nice-to-haves
