Responsibilities

• Work with veterans with brain injuries, strokes, or other disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Increase veterans' independence and enhance their quality of life through exercise and activities.
• Assist veterans in household engagement with their families.
• Build a support system in the community for veterans.
• Participate in activities such as golfing, fishing, hiking, and biking with veterans.
• Conduct marketing and outreach to veteran organizations and healthcare professionals to obtain referrals.
• Document interactions and activities in the medical record system.

Requirements

• Enjoy being active and engaging with veterans.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong computer skills for documentation and job search engines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
