About the position

ReDiscover is seeking a dedicated Community Support Specialist to join our Opioid Treatment Department. Our mission is to support our community, particularly those struggling with opioid use disorder, through comprehensive treatment programs that include medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and case management. As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Opioid Treatment Programs, which provide medication-assisted treatment options such as methadone and buprenorphine. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a caseload of clients, facilitating their achievement of long-range outcomes related to symptom management, employment, and independent living. This may involve referring clients to educational or employment programs and assisting with transportation needs as outlined in their treatment plans. In addition to direct client interaction, you will be responsible for documenting client interactions in ReDiscover's electronic medical record system and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
