About the position

The Community Support Specialist role at Caliber Therapies involves providing specialized therapies and services to individuals of all abilities within their residences and the community. This contracted position is focused on helping clients achieve their goals, requiring strong communication skills and a self-motivated attitude. The role includes driving to various locations in Cleveland, OH, and may involve assisting clients with transfers and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized therapies and services to clients in their residences and the community.
• Assist clients with transfers and activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Drive to various locations in Cleveland, OH to meet clients.
• Document client progress and services provided using a tablet or iPad.
• Maintain professional liability insurance and current First Aid/CPR certifications.

Requirements

• Professional Liability Insurance; have or willing to purchase upon hire.
• First Aid/CPR for pediatrics & adults; have or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a background and driving history check.
• Current full coverage auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Own or willing to purchase a tablet for documentation.
• Military service or experience working with the Veteran population.
• Experience working with brain injury, IDD, mental health populations, and/or Veteran population.
