About the position

The Community Support Specialist at HopeLink Behavioral Health is a full-time role focused on providing support to individuals facing behavioral health challenges. This position involves assessing client needs, developing personalized recovery plans, and delivering skill-building activities. The specialist will advocate for clients, coordinate care with providers, and offer crisis intervention and supportive counseling, all while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• QMHP certification (preferred) or eligibility for QMHP certification.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer programs.
• Strong empathy for individuals with serious mental illness.
