About the position

The Community Support Specialist at StepStone Family & Youth Services is responsible for providing essential home-based case management services to families in need. This role focuses on ensuring quality care and support for clients, facilitating family visitations, and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance family functioning and parenting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide home base case management services
• Provide Parenting Education
• Understand and implement evidenced based moralities
• Complete Casework Plan, weekly case notes, and monthly progress reports
• Attend Supervision/Staffing bi-weekly
• Facilitate and supervise family visitations
• Assess family functioning and parent skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related human service field required
• Previous experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License in good standing and reliable transportation & auto insurance that complies with state law
• Successful clearance of local, state, and national background checks
