Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking to fill an Active Treatment Technician position at Westway, our crisis stabilization facility located in Laurel, MS. The Active Treatment Technician will work under the general supervision of a registered nurse while assisting consumers according to their treatment plans. This role is crucial in providing direct consumer care and is fundamental in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals receiving treatment. The technician will engage with consumers, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel supported during their time at the facility. This is a full-time position, and since Westway operates as a 24-hour facility, the technician may be required to work on weekends and holidays. The Active Treatment Technician will be part of a dedicated team that has been serving individuals throughout the Pine Belt for over 50 years. Our mission is to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with addiction or developmental disabilities to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. The service area spans eighteen counties, including Jones County, where the facility is located. The position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall well-being of the consumers. The technician will be expected to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism while interacting with individuals in crisis.
