About the position

The Sapphire Community Support Specialist at Gateway Care Center is a full-time role focused on assisting the Skilled Nursing community with various needs to support both staff and residents. This position involves a range of responsibilities including customer service, administrative tasks, and coordination of resident services, all aimed at enhancing the quality of life within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and represent the facility in a professional manner
  • Act as facility receptionist
  • Assist with meal services
  • Help schedule appointments and send reminders
  • Provide customer service for the community
  • Type communications and create new files as needed
  • Keep information updated and communicated
  • Assist facility staff with special projects and assignments
  • Manage mail services
  • Assist residents in accessing local resources
  • Partner with community managers and care coordinators for residential needs
  • Greet new residents and coordinate upcoming appointments
  • Be available and visible; interact with residents
  • Coordinate transportation of residents as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Entry-level position
