About the position

The Community Support Specialist at DCCCA plays a vital role in representing the agency at local and regional events, facilitating community coalitions, and providing training and technical assistance to enhance community engagement and program effectiveness. This position focuses on program development, implementation, and evaluation to meet funding requirements while fostering collaboration among community members.

Responsibilities

• Represent the agency at designated local and regional events/meetings.
• Liaise with community coalitions to assess training and technical assistance needs.
• Monitor community coalition training and technical assistance plans and logic models.
• Provide or facilitate the acquisition of subject matter expertise to support coalitions in achieving goals and objectives.
• Assist with program development, implementation, and evaluation to meet funding requirements.
• Contribute to the development of e-learning modules and promote social media and virtual learning communities.
• Seek community member collaboration in using data and creating a learning space for all members.

Requirements

• Experience in community engagement and support roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
