Responsibilities

  • Deliver life-changing mental health services to clients in the community.

  • Manage a rewarding caseload and collaborate with supervisory staff to ensure a fulfilling workload.
  • Participate in staffing sessions to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Respond to mental health crises with sound judgment and provide timely assistance.
  • Ensure continuity of care through comprehensive follow-up services and documentation of interactions.
  • Actively participate in staff development activities to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, or Rehabilitation Counseling.
  • Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from an approved institution.
  • Four years of qualifying experience in a related human services field or a combination of education and experience equaling four years.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in case management or direct support roles in human services.
  • Certification as a Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) or similar credentials.
