About the position

The Sr. Territory Representative is responsible for engaging with customers in the Arizona territory to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions through the Company's Animal Health division. This role involves collaborating with field sales teams to support a customer-centric business model, focusing on the Companion Animal product portfolio, and ensuring the delivery of value and technical innovations to veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate about the product portfolio in a meaningful way tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, meeting with key personnel to understand their business models and identify opportunities.
  • Develop customer strategies to enhance relationships and drive sales growth of Animal Health products and services.
  • Create territory and account plans for key customers, collaborating with National Account Managers and Distribution Field Partners.
  • Work collaboratively across species teams to enhance knowledge of the entire Animal Health product portfolio.
  • Share insights with team members to foster growth and development within the team.
  • Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Identify and select programs/services to address customer needs and provide education and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and Field Professional Services to develop relevant offerings for customers.
  • Stay updated on Animal Health products, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Articulate and communicate relevant trends to the organization.
  • Develop and meet learning and development objectives agreed upon with leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (pending degrees considered if completed before starting).
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Commitment to collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Ability to understand customers' evolving needs and drive results accordingly.
  • Effective application of selling techniques while managing multiple accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse mix of accounts independently.
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel overnight and some weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sales experience and/or experience within the Animal Health Industry.
  • Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products.
  • Understanding or prior experience working with distribution.
  • Multi-lingual fluency preferred, particularly in Spanish.
