About the position

The Companion Animal Territory Manager is responsible for managing sales within the Arizona territory, focusing on veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts. This role involves understanding customer needs, developing strategies for account growth, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the company's Animal Health product offerings. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key decision-makers in the animal health industry.

Responsibilities

  • Interact face to face with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions.
  • Develop customer strategies to drive sales growth of Animal Health products and services.
  • Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers and Distribution Field Partners to maintain focus on key accounts.
  • Communicate product portfolio in a meaningful way tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Develop territory and specific account plans for key customers.
  • Identify and select programs/services to address customer needs and provide education opportunities.
  • Work with leadership to develop and deliver relevant offerings that meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to independently understand customers' evolving needs and expectations.
  • Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sales experience within the Animal Health Industry.
  • Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products.
  • Multi-lingual fluency, particularly in Spanish.
