Responsibilities
- Drive safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation.
- Utilize the DriveCT driver app for navigation and communication.
- Manage time effectively to minimize layover and detention periods.
- Ensure the truck is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a truck with automatic shift transmissions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Omnitracs and navigation systems.
- Familiarity with satellite TV and Sirius/XM Radio in trucks.
