About the position

The Communications Manager at Grace Church of Minnesota is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ministry branding, promotions, and communications. This role involves collaborating with the Compass Director to create an effective communications plan that utilizes various mediums to represent the ministry's heart and expand its reach.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of ministry branding, promotions, and communications.
• Collaborate with the Compass Director to develop an effective overall ministry Communications plan.
• Utilize website, social media, newsletters, and other mediums to communicate Compass effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with the current database and work creatively to expand reach.
• Ensure the Compass website functions as a resource for information and tools for educators and families, managing updates and changes.
• Lead the promotion of Compass events.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or a comparable position.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• High level of organization required.
• Strong knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and nuances of the English language.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to see work through from concept to completion.
