About the position

The Compensation Analyst 1 position at Sarum LLC is a full-time, contract role focused on managing and analyzing compensation-related activities within the organization. The role involves maintaining retention records, tracking bonuses and incentives, conducting labor market surveys, and ensuring compliance with compensation regulations. The analyst will also support HR Business Partners and facilitate training across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain retention records and track bonuses and incentives.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze labor markets to determine compensation trends.
  • Review and update job descriptions and qualifications.
  • Conduct job reviews and evaluations.
  • Establish pay rates and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Review job classifications and make recommendations.
  • Support HR Business Partners with compensation-related activities.
  • Report and conduct trend analysis.
  • Facilitate and conduct training across the company.
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation and incentive policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Analyze jobs and apply job evaluation techniques to set equitable compensation rates.
  • Provide guidance to managers and HR generalists on compensation issues.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training sessions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prior HR experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with executive compensation and HRIS functions.
  • Experience with incentive/stock option administration.
