About the position

The Compensation Analyst position at Corning's Center of Excellence (COE) focuses on providing operational and analytical support to the Americas compensation team. This role is essential in ensuring that compensation programs align with Corning's corporate strategy, support talent attraction and retention, and comply with legal requirements. The analyst will work closely with HR and business stakeholders to enhance understanding and application of compensation policies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop excellent working relationships with Business Unit HR (BUHR), Shared Services, and other HR COEs.
  • Complete annual salary survey submissions and analyze data to develop recommendations for annual salary ranges.
  • Assist with annual compensation processes for salaried and union-free hourly workforces, including testing and training.
  • Provide adhoc compensation analysis as requested by BUHR or COE.
  • Become an expert in U.S. salaried compensation wage analysis, processes, and procedures.
  • Coordinate the President's Sales Club & Circle, including process review and award distribution.
  • Compile and submit employee data for Corning's global pay equity process and assist with analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with established guidelines for compensation programs.
  • Implement and deliver new programs or trainings to business HR units.
  • Partner with the COE Communications Manager to develop training and communication materials.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Compensation or Benefits, or related experience in finance or human resources.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, particularly SuccessFactors, and other compensation applications/vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and effective communication skills.

  • Experience in project management within HR or finance.
  • Familiarity with compensation compliance, legal, and audit processes.
