About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Dermatologists of Central States (DOCS) plays a crucial role in the financial reporting and analysis of provider compensation. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including the calculation of provider compensation, preparation and maintenance of provider contracts, and the development of key performance indicators (KPIs). The Compensation Analyst will be actively involved in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. This role requires collaboration with high-level executives, including the CEO, CFO, and various Vice Presidents, to ensure that compensation structures align with the organization's financial goals and strategies. In this position, the Compensation Analyst will assist the CFO and the Manager/Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in the preparation, review, and distribution of monthly provider compensation accruals. They will also be responsible for conducting quarterly, monthly, and bi-weekly reconciliations of provider compensation, which is essential for maintaining accurate financial records. The analyst will prepare budgets and forecasts specifically for provider compensation, ensuring that the organization can effectively plan for future financial needs. Additionally, the Compensation Analyst will work directly with providers to address any compensation-related questions they may have. This role will also involve assisting the recruiting team by providing revenue and compensation calculations for potential provider candidates. Conducting analyses of provider profitability will be a key responsibility, as will the development, maintenance, and distribution of ad hoc reports and financial models as needed. This position is vital for ensuring that DOCS remains competitive in the healthcare market by providing fair and equitable compensation to its providers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist CFO and Manager/Director of FP&A in preparation, review, and distribution of monthly provider compensation accruals.
  • Conduct quarterly, monthly, and bi-weekly reconciliations of provider compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
