About the position

The Compensation Analyst role at The Judge Group involves conducting comprehensive job evaluations and market analyses to inform compensation decisions for a supply chain and logistics company. The position requires ensuring alignment between job descriptions and actual duties, identifying process improvements, and participating in compensation benchmarking surveys. The analyst will also analyze job profiles and establish equitable compensation parameters while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough job evaluations, market analyses, and research to inform compensation decisions and program recommendations.
• Ensure alignment between job descriptions and actual job duties performed by employees.
• Identify process improvement opportunities for business processes related to compensation.
• Document new procedures and business process workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in third-party compensation surveys to benchmark compensation practices against industry standards.
• Research peer companies and external markets to stay informed about compensation trends.
• Analyze job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques.
• Align jobs within the organization and establish compensation parameters that are equitable and competitive in the external market.
• Ensure that all reviewed jobs comply with exemption status requirements and meet regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in the Supply Chain industry is helpful
• Railroad industry experience is highly desirable
• Payfactors proficiency is a plus.
