About the position

The Compensation Analyst II at Univar Solutions is responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of compensation programs within the Chemical Distribution business unit. This role involves managing compensation processes, conducting market research, and providing analytical support to ensure competitive compensation practices. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining data integrity and responding to inquiries, reporting directly to the Manager of Compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the corporate compensation email box, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries
  • Manage global salary survey submissions and participation, collecting and organizing data for analysis
  • Conduct market research and prepare compensation analyses to support decision-making
  • Assist in the annual compensation planning process, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive programs
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in compensation or related HR field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Working towards or interest in obtaining Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems
  • Knowledge of global compensation practices and trends
