Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Department in ensuring employee compensation aligns with organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales.

  • Collaborate with HR team members to implement compensation strategies effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of relevant coursework and experience.
  • 3 years of directly-related compensation experience, including job description analysis in a Human Resources department setting.
  • Excellent computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate to advanced skills in Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with administration of compensation programs in multiple entities preferred.
  • Experience in a multiemployer/union plan environment preferred.
  • Experience in a Healthcare setting preferred.
