About the position

The Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing compensation programs within the HR team. This position focuses on ensuring that compensation practices are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The role involves designing and implementing various compensation elements, conducting market studies, and providing insights to HR leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company goals.
  • Design, implement, and manage compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and equity plans.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking studies to maintain competitive compensation packages.
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions for proper classification and compensation.
  • Participate in salary surveys as required.
  • Ensure compliance of compensation practices with regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize UKG/HRIS technology for managing compensation processes and provide training to HR team members.
  • Coordinate the annual salary review and bonus processes in collaboration with HR and department leaders.
  • Generate and analyze compensation reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in multi-state compensation analysis
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • CCP, CMS, GRP or similar certification preferred
  • Proficiency in compensation tools, MS Office products, and HRIS systems
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles and compliance requirements
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • CCP, CMS, GRP or similar certification preferred
