About the position

The Compensation Analyst at CommonSpirit Health plays a crucial role in analyzing and administering compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management. This position is responsible for evaluating jobs, conducting market pricing, recommending pay grades, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will also support the continuous improvement of compensation processes and collaborate with other HR teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis and administration of compensation programs including base pay and incentive pay.
  • Evaluate jobs and complete market pricing to recommend pay grades.
  • Conduct compensation surveys and perform associated analysis.
  • Provide analytic support for compensation program management and implementation.
  • Deliver education and communication regarding compensation programs.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on market compensation data and internal compensation information.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned and support continuous improvement of compensation processes.
  • Ensure accuracy of compensation-related data in company information systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Two years of compensation or human resources experience.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Excel and HR technology applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in presentation and education skills.
