About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Ocean Spray plays a vital role in analyzing, developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs. This hybrid position requires collaboration with the Human Resources team and the business to provide global compensation guidance, conduct market surveys, and ensure compliance with compensation regulations. The analyst will also support benefits-related activities and maintain job descriptions to reflect accurate role requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external market analysis to determine competitive compensation trends.
  • Responsible for compensation benchmarking in third party compensation platform.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation.
  • Analyze new positions and reclassification requests to determine job classification and FLSA exemption status.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation data and trends to management.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR business partners, and managers on compensation-related issues.
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and equity adjustments.
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR and management on compensation-related matters.
  • Communicate and educate employees on compensation policies, guidelines, and programs.
  • Support benefits-related activities such as Tuition Reimbursement Program and Relocation Benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in Workday preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
